Jews Are Not Occupiers in Their Land: Netanyahu on UN Court's Decision
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the International Court of Justice's conclusion, which demanded the halt of settlement activities in Palestinian territories. He made this statement on the social media platform X.
"The Jewish people are not conquering their land—neither our eternal capital Jerusalem nor our ancestral heritage in Judea and Samaria (the Israeli name for the West Bank)," said Netanyahu.
He added that no false ruling from The Hague will distort this historical truth.
Earlier, the International Court of Justice stated that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories constitutes annexation. According to the court, Israel's settlement activities in Palestine violate international law.
