Brussels sees the possibility for direct bilateral communication between Yerevan and Baku. This was announced today in Oxford by Charles Michel, President of the European Council, during the 4th summit of the European Political Community.
“In recent months, we have seen the opportunity for establishing direct ties between Azerbaijan and Armenia. And you know, I have tried to do everything possible on behalf of the EU to facilitate direct dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the diplomat stated.
From 2021 to 2023, under the mediation of Charles Michel, six high-level meetings have taken place between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
