Armenian Foreign Ministry Refutes Azerbaijani Claims and Asserts the Opposite

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has denied the Azerbaijani statement claiming that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan refused to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“The Armenian side proposed a bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan within the framework of the European Political Community summit taking place in the UK, but the Azerbaijani side rejected the proposal. The Armenian side's offer stands,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson stated.

The Armenian side also reaffirmed its proposal to intensify negotiations at high and high-level and aims to sign a peace agreement within one month.

It is important to note that earlier, the Azerbaijani side had reported that Pashinyan had refused to meet Aliyev in London.
