It Is Known When the Statue of the Goddess Anahit Will Be Displayed in Armenia

The statue of the goddess Anahit, kept in a British museum, will be exhibited at the History Museum of Armenia starting from September 21. The government allocated 15.6 million dram to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. Minister Zhanna Andreasyan announced that the amount will be used for the promotion of the temporary exhibition titled "Motherhood: From Anahit to Mary." It is expected that during the six-month exhibition period, the museum will attract at least 300,000 visitors, and as a result of the promotion, 800,000 to 1,000,000 people will be informed about the exhibition.

In response to a question regarding the transportation of the statue, Andreasyan stated that the conditions are thoroughly described in the contract signed with the British Museum.
