Heavy Rain, Hail, and Temperature Drops Expected in the Coming Days

In significant parts of the Republic of Armenia, rain and thunderstorms are expected intermittently from July 18 to 20, and during the night of the 21st, with heavy rainfall possible in certain areas and potential hail. This has been reported by the Hydro-Meteorology and Monitoring Center.

According to the announcement, the wind will blow from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected during thunderstorms reaching speeds of 19-24 m/s. In the evening hours, strong winds of 18-23 m/s are anticipated in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

The temperature today will drop by 4-7 degrees Celsius during the day. In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are also expected intermittently from July 18 to 20, and during the night of the 21st. Strong winds of 18-23 m/s are anticipated during thunderstorms and in the evening.
