Powers of Supreme Court Criminal Chamber Judge Terminated

The Supreme Judicial Council made a decision on July 16, stating: “Considering that the powers of the Supreme Court Criminal Chamber Judge Samvel Vladimiri Ohanian will expire on July 29, 2024, when he turns 65, and guided by part 8 of Article 166 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, point 9 of part 1 of Article 89 of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia, part 2 of Article 160, part 3 of Article 160, and part 1 of Article 94, the Supreme Judicial Council decides: 1. Due to reaching the mandatory retirement age, the powers of the Supreme Court Criminal Chamber Judge Samvel Vladimiri Ohanian are considered terminated from July 29, 2024.”
