Fire Erupts in New Residential Complex of 'Defense Housing'

On July 17, at 19:52, the National Center for Crisis Management received a call reporting flames visible from the fourth floor of a construction site located at 320 Tichinayi Street in Yerevan.

Six firefighting teams, two fire ladders, and emergency response units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as operational groups from the Crisis Management National Center and the Medical Support Department, were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary information indicates that the fire broke out on the eighth floor of the multi-story building under construction, covering an area of approximately 1000 square meters.

Present at the scene are the acting head of the Emergency Situations Service, Colonel Egor Karapetyan, and other officials.
