Enhanced Police Services in Regions: What Has Been Discovered
The Police of the Republic of Armenia reports: "On the evening of July 16, law enforcement conducted enhanced services across various regions of the republic. Participating were officers from regional police departments and subordinate units, patrol services, as well as employees from the Chief Department of Criminal Police.
In the Armavir region, there were three recorded instances of drug discovery and one instance of the discovery of a pneumatic pistol. In the Kotayk region, five instances of drug discovery were recorded, with approximately 45 grams of a substance resembling marijuana confiscated.
In the Ararat region, 18 protocols were drawn up for violations of traffic rules. In two cases, a substance resembling marijuana was discovered, in one case a dropper and folding knife were found, and in another case a gas pistol was seized.
In the Aragatsotn region, 13 protocols for violations of traffic rules were drawn up. One instance of drug discovery was registered, and one protocol was drawn up for failing to comply with a legal order from a police officer, while one vehicle was towed to the specially protected area of the Ashtarak police department.
The activities are of a periodic nature," the statement notes.
