Circulation of Tablets from a Pharmaceutical Producer Halted in Armenia
The circulation of tablets produced by the company 'Argo-Pharm' has been halted by the Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia. On July 16, 2024, a directive was issued regarding the circulation of Ascorbic Acid Tablets with Glucose (100 mg + 877 mg) in a plastic container (manufacturer: 'Farmstandart-UfaVITA' LLC, Russia), series 010124, with an expiry date of February 1, 2025.
This information was reported by the Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia. The directive is based on a letter dated July 15, 2024, from the 'Expert Center for Medicines and Medical Technologies' of the Ministry of Health of Armenia and an additional expert conclusion received on July 16, 2024. It is also worth noting that the holder of the registration certificate, 'Farmstandart-UfaVITA' LLC, is recalling all batches of the mentioned medicine produced between December 2023 and June 13, 2024, due to a quality discrepancy in the 'solubility' specification.
We urge citizens to be cautious as there is a type two defect under recall, and to avoid using any batches of this medicine produced between December 2023 and June 13, 2024.
