Two Men Assault Foreign Nationals, Including a Woman, on Northern Avenue: Details
On the night of July 13, at 4:50 AM, a woman called the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to report that they were assaulted on Northern Avenue. This was announced by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
At 6:36 AM, a report was received from the First University Hospital; an ambulance team transported a 25-year-old woman and two men aged 38 and 36, all foreign nationals, with bodily injuries from Tumanyan Street.
Criminal investigators from the Central Division of the Police determined that four unidentified individuals had engaged in an unfounded dispute with them on Tumanyan Street, grossly violating public order by shouting insults and delivering multiple blows with their hands and feet, causing bodily injuries.
As a result of operational investigative measures, it was established that the act was committed by two men aged 42. They were located near one of the buildings on Abovyan Street, arrested on suspicion of hooliganism, and transferred to the Central Division of the Police. Subsequently, the necessary documents were prepared and submitted to the investigative authority. The circumstances are under investigation.
