UN: The Process of Normalizing Relations Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Will Have a Positive Impact on the Entire Region

The official representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stephan Dujarric, expressed hope that the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan will positively impact the entire region.

“I believe that the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with the resolution of several bilateral issues, will have an extremely positive effect not only on those countries but also on the entire region,” said the representative of the UN Secretary-General.

This statement was made in reference to the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
