Putin Hasn’t Sent Messages to Biden Through Orban, Says Peskov
The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, is attempting to understand the essence of the disagreements between the parties involved in the Ukraine conflict, and Russia appreciates this effort. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made this statement on July 8.
“Mr. Orbán is indeed undertaking a serious initiative to reconcile the positions of different parties based on primary sources. We highly value this, and President Vladimir Putin has also given a similarly high regard to Mr. Orbán's efforts,” Peskov stated.
He noted that the positions of the parties differ in many respects, and the Hungarian Prime Minister is doing serious work to clarify the specific nature of these disagreements.
The Kremlin spokesperson also reported that Putin has not sent any messages to U.S. President Joe Biden through Orbán.
