Kim Jong Un's Sister Claims South Korea's President Has Condemned His Country to Destruction

The Deputy Director of the Worker’s Party of Korea’s Central Committee, Kim Yo Jong, who is also the sister of Kim Jong Un, believes that South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has condemned his country to destruction. This was stated by Kim Yo Jong in a declaration published by the Korean Central News Agency.

“Everyone must accept the fact that the so-called president elected by the citizens has condemned the Republic of Korea to destruction,” Kim Yo Jong stated, sharply criticizing the South Korean side for intensifying military exercises and resuming live-fire drills at military training grounds.

“I assure you that the enemies playing with fire is yet another provocation aimed at exacerbating the situation,” emphasized Kim Jong Un's sister. She explains the activation of South Korean military personnel by the internal political situation in the Republic of Korea, stating, “Yoon Suk Yeol and his chaotic crew are trying to find a 'backup exit' from the situation,” reminding that the impeachment motion against the South Korean president has collected over one million signatures.

She noted that inter-Korean relations are at their worst in history, promising that the North Korean Armed Forces will “immediately carry out their mission” in response to any attempt to violate the country’s sovereignty.

In early July, the Republic of Korea resumed live-fire drills at military training grounds near the North Korean border after a six-year hiatus, which had been halted under a bilateral agreement. By the end of 2023, the Republic of Korea conducted for the first time Freedom Edge trilateral exercises with the US and Japan in several areas in international waters south of South Korea’s Jeju Island.
