Erdogan and Iran's Newly Elected President Discuss Regional Issues
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone conversation with Iran's newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian, TRT reports.
According to a statement from Erdoğan's office, the discussion addressed Turkey and Iran's bilateral relations, and regional and global issues were also reviewed.
Erdoğan expressed confidence in the further development of relations between the two countries in all areas, highlighting their deep historical roots. The Turkish leader congratulated Pezeshkian on his victory in the presidential elections and wished him success in his new position.
