Certain Western Countries are Paving the Way for World War III, Erdoğan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that there are countries in the West that are paving the way for a third world war, while Russian leader Vladimir Putin speaks of peace.

“Unfortunately, there are countries and factions in the West that have adopted an approach that paves the way for a third world war. It is clear that arms dealers need money. And the market for arms dealers is the West. In his recent statements, Mr. Putin advocates for peace,” Erdoğan told reporters aboard his plane after returning from Astana.

The Turkish president expressed hope that the conflict in Ukraine will end. “We continue to monitor the developments. Mr. Hakan Fidan, my Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Yaşar Güler, my Minister of National Defense, are following this issue. I hope that we will reach a peace conclusion as soon as possible,” he stated.
