Erdogan Invites Putin to Turkey
Before the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Astana.
According to "RIA Novosti," during the meeting, Erdogan once again invited Putin to Turkey. "I look forward to welcoming you to our country as soon as possible," Erdogan stated, addressing Vladimir Putin.
In response, the Russian president noted that he would visit Turkey. Although specific dates were not outlined, the publication suggests that the visit may take place in the near future.
