A Makarov Pistol Found Near a Notorious Criminal Figure in Kanaker

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia are notable not only for apprehending individuals wanted for particularly serious crimes but also for preventing numerous offenses, including grave incidents. They have also uncovered a significant amount of illegal weapons and ammunition.

On July 2, operatives in the mentioned division received intelligence that a 39-year-old resident of Yerevan, Gagik H., was in possession of illegal weapons and ammunition and sometimes carried them. Upon arriving at the scene, it was confirmed that the operational information was credible. A Makarov-type combat pistol, loaded with 8 cartridges and equipped with a silencer, as well as a folding knife, were discovered in his possession.

According to G. Shamshyan, Gagik H. has previously been convicted several times, including for murder, and is known as a criminal figure in Kanaker.
