USA Moves Abrams Tanks and Other Military Equipment to Poland
The US Army has stationed Abrams tanks and other military equipment in Poland. This is reported by the US Department of Defense's publication, Stars and Stripes.
"The first army tanks and vehicles that could one day support an entire armored brigade have arrived at the new depot in Poland," the report states.
It is noted that the batch of equipment has been delivered to the US base warehouses located in the Powidz area in western Poland. The shipment includes, in particular, fourteen M1 Abrams tanks. The Pentagon has promised that soon there will be up to 85 combat tanks, 190 armored vehicles, including M2 Bradleys, and 35 artillery units stationed in the area, which is located about 400 kilometers from Ukraine.
