Belarus Supplied Weapons to Azerbaijan from 2018 to 2022: Politico

Belarus supplied weapons to Azerbaijan between 2018 and 2022, according to Politico, citing official documents. The publication states that the actions of the Belarusian side were regarded as a betrayal by Armenia. Both countries are members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which obligates them to defend each other in case of an attack.

Politico refers to 'more than a dozen letters and diplomatic notes that have surfaced online.' According to these documents, the services provided by Belarus included the modernization of old artillery equipment and the supply of new systems, which are used for electronic warfare systems and drones. Additionally, it is reported that the two countries have engaged in correspondence regarding agreements on the purchase of the 'Grozha-S' anti-missile systems.

Neither the Belarusian nor the Azerbaijani governments have commented on this information.
