Video: Stole 3 Bottles of Alcohol, Returned 2 to Employees, Then Threatened with a Knife and Fled

An alert was received at the Arabkir Division of the Police from the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. An employee of the supermarket reported that an unknown person attempted to commit theft, and when he approached and intervened, the suspect threatened him with a knife and fled.

The police reported that upon arriving at the scene, officers from the Arabkir Division discovered that the man had stolen alcoholic beverages, which he had concealed under his clothing. When the store employees approached and demanded the return of the drinks, he returned only two bottles, while threatening them with a knife for the third one before escaping.

As a result of operational and investigative measures, the identity of the person who committed the crime was established. A 31-year-old resident of Yerevan was located, arrested, and taken to the Arabkir Police Division. A criminal case has been initiated. The young man and the prepared documents have been submitted to the investigative department.
