Major Accident in Yerevan: Car Crashes into Electric Pole and Tractor, 7 Injured

On June 27, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 03:30, in the vicinity of Fuchik Street, near the Armenia Medical Center, 23-year-old Aramais Azatyan from Kotayk province collided with an iron electric pole while driving his Porsche Cayenne. The vehicle then crashed into a parked tractor and partly ended up on the sidewalk. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, seven individuals were taken to various hospitals in Yerevan with bodily injuries. Witnesses at the scene asserted that the accident was provoked by 24-year-old Mikayel Manasyan, a resident of Yerevan, who created a hazardous situation while driving his Nissan. Following the collision, a light installed on the electric pole was dislodged and fell onto a parked Hyundai vehicle.

According to reports, the drivers of the Porsche Cayenne and Nissan were subjected to sobriety tests, with the Porsche Cayenne driver found to be under the influence.
