Mother Kills 3-Year-Old Daughter with Axe Suspecting Husband of Infidelity in Russia

A 34-year-old woman from Kuragin, Yulia A., suspected her husband of infidelity, believing that he was having an affair and planned to leave her with their three children. While her husband was at work, Yulia took an axe and struck her youngest daughter, 3-year-old Liza, multiple times, resulting in the child's immediate death.

Afterward, she inflicted injuries with a knife on her older daughter, 8-year-old Lara. Yulia then called a friend and confessed to the murder. She is now in custody and being questioned, but she is reportedly not speaking clearly and may be in shock. Investigators are looking into what drove her to commit such brutality. Previously, Yulia had no known mental health issues.
