Gunshot in Yerevan: 46-Year-Old Man Transferred to Hospital with Gunshot Wound

A critical incident occurred yesterday in Yerevan. Around 8:55 PM, a report was received from the Heratsi University Hospital #1, stating that a citizen with a gunshot wound had been transferred from one of the buildings on A. Avetisyan Street.

The injured individual is a 46-year-old resident of Yerevan, Karen T.

Police and investigators have determined that at approximately 8:00 PM on the same day, Karen T. was in an apartment on A. Avetisyan Street with 51-year-old Armenuhi S. and 22-year-old Edward A., where the individuals heard a gunshot from the bedroom before alerting emergency services.

According to preliminary information, it appears that Karen T. accidentally discharged a firearm, resulting in his gunshot wound.
