Princess Anne has been urgently transported to the hospital due to a head injury. The injury occurred from a blow to the head or legs of a horse. The princess sustained minor injuries and a concussion yesterday evening at Gatcombe Park estate.

Princess Anne is the only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and the sister of King Charles III.

"Her Royal Highness remains at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for precautionary observation; she is expected to make a full and swift recovery," stated a message released by Buckingham Palace.
