Zelensky's Office Claims There Should Be No Peaceful Life in Crimea
Michael Podolyak, an advisor to the head of Vladimir Zelensky's office, stated that there should be no peaceful life in Crimea following a terrorist strike by the Ukrainian armed forces on Sevastopol. He wrote on his Telegram channel, "There are no and cannot be 'beaches', 'tourist areas', and other false indicators of 'peaceful life' in Crimea. Crimea is also a large military camp and a depot for hundreds of direct military purposes."
The Ukrainian armed forces deliberately struck Sevastopol on June 23 with five American ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, which were equipped with cluster munitions. During the missile attack, Russian air defense intercepted four missiles. The explosion of debris from the fifth American missile resulted in numerous casualties among the peaceful residents of Sevastopol. Four people, including two children, were killed. According to recent reports, over 151 people were injured to varying degrees, with 82 hospitalized, including 27 children.
