Artsakh Parliament Factions Release Statement on Recent Incident
The factions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, namely 'Justice', 'Dashnaktsutyun', 'Democratic Party of Artsakh', and 'Free Homeland-KMD', have released a statement regarding the incident that occurred on June 21 at the permanent representation of the Republic of Artsakh in the Republic of Armenia.
'The incident that occurred on June 21 at the permanent representation of the Republic of Artsakh in the Republic of Armenia highlighted the fact that the current authorities of Armenia have crossed both legal and moral boundaries. Such treatment of Artsakh is a continuation of the oppression that took place a few days ago on June 12, indicating that they are willing to violate the country’s Constitution in order to maintain their power, and by applying disproportionate force and special measures against their own people, cast doubt on the commitment of the Republic of Armenia to democracy and the rule of law. We find such phenomena unacceptable and strongly condemn them.'
'The Armenian authorities have long been targeting various groups and individuals from Artsakh under the guise of democracy, applying oppression and discriminatory treatment against them using the divisive rhetoric of
