Russia to Take Measures to Prevent Ukrainian Armed Forces from Attacking Energy Facilities, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
Russia will take measures to prevent Ukraine from attacking energy facilities, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, against the backdrop of the recent shelling of Enerhodar.
According to her, the systematic attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and other energy facilities indicate an intention to harm the country's economy and pose a risk of technogenic accidents, which could threaten the nuclear safety of the entire continent.
“Recognizing the Zelensky regime's complete inability to negotiate, our country will take all necessary measures to deprive the Kyiv regime of the possibility to carry out such attacks,” the diplomat said.
Previously, the operation of the infrastructure facilities of the Zaporizhzhia NPP was disrupted due to an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on the Raduga substation.
