When Yerevan's Public Transport Fares Will Increase

The fare for public transport in Yerevan will increase starting January 1, 2025, rather than in September of this year. This was announced by Hayk Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Mayor of Yerevan.

“The fare for public transport in Yerevan will rise on January 1, 2025, instead of this September, as the relevant project is included in the agenda for the city council meeting,” he stated.

“As we anticipated, the city authorities are postponing the transport price increase to January 2025. They are unable to implement their planned changes on time,” wrote Manuk Sukiasyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the “Mother Armenia” faction.
