VIDEO: A Group of Iranian Citizens Lost on Mount Ararat and Unable to Make Contact

Rescue teams have discovered foreign citizens on Mount Ararat and escorted them to a safe area.
On June 14, at 19:38, a report was received by the National Crisis Management Center that citizens had ascended Mount Ararat and were unable to make contact. A combat team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with an operational group, was dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers found 13 citizens (from the Islamic Republic of Iran) along the road leading to the western peak of Mount Ararat, and escorted them to Lake Kari, after which they were transported by vehicles to the village of Byurakan.
