Posthumous Award Granted to Ara Martirosyan in Russia

Singer Ara Martirosyan has been awarded a special prize during the "ЗОЛОТОЙ ВЕК" business awards ceremony in Russia for his contributions to the development of musical arts. The award was received by the artist's sister, Araksya Martirosyan.

“Ara Martirosyan was very famous in Russia, and it doesn’t need to be reiterated because all of you know that very well. He sang about love, and there was so much emotion in his songs that his soul and heart live on in those songs, and he continues to remain here,” said host Igor Vernik while handing over the award to the singer's sister.

Araksya Martirosyan expressed gratitude to the organizers of the award ceremony and everyone who appreciates her brother's works. “I just want to say that he would have been very happy,” she added.

It is reminded that Ara Martirosyan passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 46, from a cardiac arrest.
