Body of Contracted Serviceman Found, Identity Confirmed: Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement regarding a tragic event.

“On June 14, around 08:20, the body of contracted serviceman Armen Gurgeni Gasparyan was discovered in the protection area of military unit N of the Ministry of Defense, showing gunshot wounds. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences and support to the family members, relatives, and fellow servicemen of the deceased,” the statement reads.
