I Hope Everything Will Eventually Be Reevaluated: Kobakhidze
Edita
The U.S. sanctions against the Georgian leadership are offensive and do not correspond to the spirit of partnership between the two countries. This was stated by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
"I would like to emphasize once again that the sanctions are primarily offensive to our country and our people. Therefore, I hope that everything will eventually be reevaluated," Kobakhidze told reporters during the Ukraine Recovery Conference held in Berlin.
Kobakhidze noted that it is in Georgia's interest for relations with the U.S. and the European Union to "deepen as much as possible." He also expects to see reciprocal actions in this direction from both American and European partners.
