We Demand a Change of Power in Armenia, Archbishop Bagrat Appeals to Partners in Armenia

The leader of the Tavush Diocese and head of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, Archbishop Bagrat, has addressed friends and partners of Armenia and the Armenian people, emphasizing that the movement has support both within the country and in the diaspora.

He reminded that the movement was formed in response to the Armenian government's unilateral and baseless concessions to Azerbaijan, which, according to Archbishop Bagrat, pose a threat to the country's security.

"I appeal to our partners—we demand a change of government in Armenia, which is more than justified given that the current administration has lost its legitimacy by violating its campaign promises and governmental program. The current authorities' policies are based on lies, disrupt the logic of processes, violate the Constitution and laws, creating new threats to the security of Armenia," he said.

The initiators and driving force of the movement, our activists, and our community are ready to build honest relations with the world and all external partners, prepared to be predictable and reliable partners whose word has real value. We should not sever allied ties but rather develop our existing alliances through dialogue, while simultaneously deepening relations in all directions, increasing the number of allies, partners, and friends,” he added.
