Notice to Teachers Achieving 0-59 Percent in Voluntary Certification Process - Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport informs that teachers who have not passed the threshold of voluntary certification in previous years must have the school director indicate in the personal files of teachers subject to mandatory certification that the said teacher is 'subject to certification' in the educational management information system. Furthermore, a needs assessment process must be conducted.

The evaluation of professional needs is also carried out by the teacher. In cases where the need for subject knowledge is recorded, re-training will be conducted based on a guaranteed program provided by a higher education institution that grants qualifications in that subject area.

Certification will be undertaken within the framework of the voluntary certification process through the verification of subject knowledge.
