Russia Continues Gas Supply to Europe via Ukraine, Says Putin

Russia continues to supply gas to Europe through Ukraine. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with heads of global news agencies.

RIA Novosti reports, “We continue to supply gas to Europe via Ukraine. We are supplying it. There used to be two pipeline systems; one was closed by the Ukrainian side. Only one pipeline system remains open. From there, gas is going to Europe. The European consumer is receiving that gas,” said Putin.

The president also noted that European consumers receive Russian gas through Turkish streams as well.
