"They ask me this question 47 times a day": Edmon Marukyan
Former ambassador with special assignments and leader of the LHK party, Edmon Marukyan, addressed a citizen's question during the program "Questions Are Questions" regarding the state of the nation, asking, "When will we be able to peacefully lay our heads on the pillow?" He responded, "I can be asked this 47 times a day in cafes, at doorways, or in elevators. I’ll say this half-jokingly: My friends ask me how things are going, and I say, 'It’s going according to its own course.' They then ask, 'So what is the end result going to be?' I reply, 'The process will show us.' There’s an English saying that states, 'In the end, everything will be alright, but for now, it’s not the end yet.' If I speak seriously, there won't be peace for a long time, neither in the region nor in our country. There’s also a saying that goes, 'It might get a little worse, and it will stay like that.'
