Police Warn Citizens Gathered Near Foreign Ministry: Special Measures Will Be Taken If Actions Do Not Cease
The building of the Foreign Ministry is considered a specially protected area. A police officer announced this in front of the Foreign Ministry.
Bagrat Srabazan, the leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, responded by stating that they will remain there until they are either evacuated or leave the area. "They said they would have a meeting, they might escape by their own methods; I am not very convinced that they are really up there. Therefore, the entire responsibility will fall on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Internal Affairs, whatever happens in this case. We will try to go to the specially protected area to see specially protected individuals," he said.
The police also urged to immediately cease illegal actions, otherwise they will be forced to use special measures against the protesters for not complying with the legal demand.
