Every day is a wonderful opportunity to sign a peace treaty, says Pashinyan

The location and timing for signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan can be discussed further after the parties fully complete their work on the text. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a briefing in the National Assembly yard, referring to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's announcement that there is a good opportunity to discuss and sign the peace treaty during the upcoming COP-29 conference in Baku this November.

“Every day is a wonderful opportunity to sign a peace treaty. The issue is that agreements must be reached on the text of the treaty. I hope that these agreements will be reached. More precisely, those agreements were reached on October 6, 2022, in Prague, then in Brussels, in Sochi, and it remains to incorporate them into the text of the treaty,” noted Nikol Pashinyan.

He did not respond to the question of whether he would go to Baku to participate in the conference or not.
