During a filming session in Odesa, a girl was swept away by a sea wave. 20-year-old police officer Olesya Oleschuk was posing for a photo against the backdrop of a choppy sea when she was engulfed by a wave. The girl lost her balance and fell into the water. Due to the storm, she was unable to return to the dock, and nearby people could not help her in time. The incident was recorded by a witness who was filming the sea.

Oleschuk had traveled to Odesa from Rivne during her vacation. In her hometown, she worked as a local police officer.
