Body of Drowned Composer Found in Lake Sevan

Today, on June 3, the divers of the special rescue team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia discovered the body of a drowned composer in Lake Sevan after two days of search operations. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to a photojournalist at the scene, search operations had continued since early morning, which allowed the divers to find the body.

Shortly before, the information about the incident was relayed from the Sevan Police Department to the Sevan Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Sevan Investigative Division based on the incident. It is recalled that the 25-year-old composer Anahit Hakobi Mnatsakanyan has been missing since the night of May 31. It was reported that on June 1, patrol officers, water rescuers, and four divers from the special rescue team were conducting search operations in Lake Sevan.

A citizen approached the Sevan Department and reported that his 25-year-old daughter had visited a recreational area on the shores of Sevan and had not been heard from since the morning, raising suspicions that she had drowned. She is Anahit M., a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan, and those who recognized her at the scene stated that she was a composer and the author of music for several well-known series in Armenia.
