Video: Alaverdi Wins Champion and Runner-Up in Golden Gloves Tournament; Aren Mkrtchyan in Disaster Zone

Member of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' faction Aren Mkrtchyan has posted a video on his Facebook page stating, "Alaverdi has produced a champion and a runner-up in the Golden Gloves boxing tournament held in Armenia yesterday. It is symbolic that the champion, Nairi, and the runner-up, Aren, hail from the blocked area of the Sanahin train station. I congratulate the boys and express my gratitude to the coach."

It is noteworthy that heavy rains on May 26 led to flooding in the Lori and Tavush regions, with the Debet, Akhstev, and Tashir rivers overflowing their banks, causing significant damage to vital infrastructure and residential buildings. Roads and bridges have collapsed. Four people have lost their lives due to the floods, and the government has declared areas affected by flooding as a disaster zone.
