Video: Fishermen Electrified After Touching Power Lines with Fishing Rods in Russia

In the Samara region of Russia, a group of young men narrowly escaped serious injury after they tried to touch a power line with fishing rods. Local media reports indicate that the incident occurred as the fishermen walked along the Chuprikovsky road, attempting to tap the overhead electric wires with the tips of their rods.

When they succeeded, a powerful spark was produced. The three young men were electrocuted and fell to the ground. One of them managed to get up and call for help.

The injured individuals were subsequently transported to a local hospital with serious burns.
