This is Why the State is Expensive: Because Living Well is Expensive - Pashinyan
The state budget of the Republic of Armenia is about organizing the life of our state. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement during a session of the National Assembly.
According to Pashinyan, it is crucial to answer one key question: what issues are being resolved through the budget expenditures?
"The state is the most costly initiative of human endeavors; there is no initiative that is more expensive than the state itself," he said.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to understand the purpose of the state.
"In the end, is the state meant to realize ideas put forth by isolated groups that consider themselves elite, or is it focused on ensuring its own well-being?" he stressed.
Pashinyan pointed out that the state should be understood as a tool aimed at ensuring a good life.
"This is why the state is expensive: because living well is expensive," he noted.
