No Need for Food and Water in Disaster-Affected Areas

Today, a regular meeting of the expanded operational headquarters was held. The minister was informed about the day's tasks and the results of the instructions given in the morning.

The director of the Emergency Situations Rescue Service, Kamo Tsutsulyan, reported that 90% of the cleaning work on Tumanyan Street has been completed. Work in the remaining sections continues with high intensity, as reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.

The Deputy Minister of Economy, Arman Khojoyan, reported on the work being done to exclude and manage the animal disease situation. The Deputy Minister of Health, Levon Hakobyan, also informed about ensuring residents receive necessary medications and the work being carried out in the health sector.

The progress of damage assessment work was also presented. Minister Sanosyan informed the members of the headquarters about the ongoing efforts to make certain sections of the M6 interstate highway passable, as well as the work on the railway to the Ayrum station and then transporting goods from there by trucks.

The minister noted that there is no need for food and water. Sufficient supplies are available, which are distributed to residents as needed. The results of the volunteers' work were also presented to the minister. Several current work-related issues were discussed, and new instructions were given by the minister.
