Do You Fear Facing the People? A Question to Nikol Pashinyan

I have faced and directly communicated with the people in Baghanis, Vayk, Kirants, Alaverdi, Tashir, and all other places. I constantly interact and will continue to interact with the people. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly courtyard, in response to the question of whether he feared confronting the people participating in protests.

In response to the observation that he communicates with people in a procession, Pashinyan said, “The legislation regarding persons under state protection of the Republic of Armenia was adopted before the revolution, and it states that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia does not have the right to refuse state protection. This means that the State Protection Service, regardless of who the Prime Minister is, must carry out its duties. That is their obligation. The communication with the people has taken place, it is ongoing, and it will continue.”
