This is the mildest assessment I can express: Ararat Mirzoyan

Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, has announced that the deputy prime ministers leading the border commissions have agreed to begin the delimitation process based on the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991, and many countries and organizations around the world, including the OSCE, have welcomed this bilateral agreement.

Mirzoyan also referred to the statements made by the council of diaspora diplomats. According to the minister, he is making continuous efforts to avoid getting involved in domestic political processes: “I am striving not to cross the boundaries of civility in political debate, but right now, I cannot ignore a couple of stark facts. The 'experienced' diplomats you mentioned were likely the deserters who abandoned their posts, literally leaving the trench allocated to them at the time when military aggression was occurring on the sovereign territory of the country. After mentioning this fact, I cannot hold any drop of seriousness towards these people and their positions. This is the mildest assessment I can express. However, the reality is even worse: by undermining the Alma-Ata Declaration and the peace process based on it, these people continue to, I cannot assert with certainty whether consciously or unconsciously, undermine Armenia's sovereignty, statehood, and territorial integrity. In the best interpretation, they do not realize it; in the worst interpretation, they are acting at the behest of another country.
