Pashinyan to Chair 10th EAEU Summit in Moscow
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who is currently presiding over the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), will lead the organization’s anniversary summit to be held in Moscow on May 8.
This was announced during a briefing for journalists by Yuri Ushakov, the aide to the President of Russia. "The meeting is dedicated to the anniversary of the signing of the treaty establishing the Eurasian Economic Union," Ushakov reminded, adding that the heads of EAEU member states have decided to hold the Anniversary Summit in Moscow.
The event, noted the Russian presidential aide, will take place under the leadership of Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with Yerevan currently holding the presidency in the EAEU. Earlier, it was reported that Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin are set to meet in Moscow on May 8.
