Mikael Badalyan Did Not Commit Violence Against Zhira Yar Voskanyan, Lawyers Say

The lawyers of blogger Mikael Badalyan have issued a statement.

“Mikael Badalyan did not commit violence against Zhira Yar Voskanyan, and there is undeniable evidence regarding this. Mikael Badalyan is not evading the investigation and is ready to appear before the investigator at any call,” stated the lawyers Erik Aleksanyan and Alexander Kochubayev.

It is recalled that today journalist Gohar Hayrapetyan wrote that blogger Mika Badalyan, along with a group of men, assaulted 1in.am journalist Zhira Yar Voskanyan.

“Blogger Mika Badalyan, together with several men, attacked my colleague Zhira Yar Voskanyan on Tumanyan Street. They beat him up, hurled sexual insults, and stole his phone. All this happened in the presence of police officers,” Gohar Hayrapetyan wrote.
