Turkey Condemns French National Assembly's Resolution
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the resolution of the French National Assembly recognizing the Sayfo (Sayfo) genocide. Earlier, on April 29, the French National Assembly adopted a resolution recognizing the Sayfo genocide.
The Sayfo genocide refers to the systematic mass extermination of Assyrians (Assyrian massacre) carried out by the authorities of the Ottoman Empire during World War I, alongside the genocide of Armenians, Greeks, and Kurdish Yezidis.
