Tucker Carlson Publishes Interview with Alexander Dugin
American journalist Tucker Carlson has published an interview with Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin. A video lasting just over 20 minutes appeared on Carlson's social network X.
Carlson referred to his interlocutor as the "most famous" political philosopher and noted that "the Ukrainian government has killed his daughter." Under the publication on his personal website, Carlson highlighted two subtitles: "The West's Self-Destructive Behavior" and "When Did Russia Start Being Viewed as America's Main Enemy?"
During the interview, Dugin discussed various issues, including the nature of liberalism, and stated that he considers Russian President Vladimir Putin a "traditional leader" who has begun to distance the country from global influences. The philosopher also expressed his belief that Putin defends traditional values, and that the reason for America's enmity toward Russia lies in the leader's policies.
According to Carlson, the interview was recorded in Moscow. However, the journalist did not specify exactly when the conversation took place—whether during his visit to the Russian capital to interview President Vladimir Putin or at another time. In February, Carlson published an interview with Putin on his website, which was later shared on X and YouTube. Since then, the video has garnered over 212 million views on X and more than 19 million on YouTube. The interview was also featured on the Kremlin's website.
